We begin with Ash and a basic circle shape

This is a basic frame for the torso

Add frames for arms

Line divider near middle of head

Curved L shaped line for the left side of face

Add more dividing lines for perspective

Add curve line for nose/eyebrow which pictures face on an angle

Add curved hair

Add diagonal line which represents brim of hat

Add diagonal line for the brim of the hat and add more hair

Add right side hair and closed eye

Add back hair eyebrow (thin curved line close to hats brim) and closed eyes

Add curved L for back of hat

Draw hat based on picture

Add a slightly crooked circle near center and have it proportional

Add collar

And shoulder

Sleeve

Extra details on jacket

Add neck and neck hole

Left collar etc

Add details and shading

Now for pikachu add a hump

Add curved triangles for his ears

Extra hump near bottom for his thigh

Triangles for hands

Add circles for eyes and checks curved lines near the points of his ears and mouth

Rectangular zigzags for tail

Black triangle for nose and little circles in eyes for pupils

Shade in and enjoy the pic
