What is an isosceles triangle?
An isosceles triangle is a triangle with two equal sides.
Step 1- Sharpen pencil
Draw a horizontal line, using a ruler, measuring approximately 4 centimetres long.
Horizontal means flat from left to right Eg. A rug
Now draw a vertical line measuring approximately 4 centimetres long.
Vertical means an upright structure Eg. Straight down
Now you want to draw a diagonal connecting the other two.
Make sure that the line measures exactly 5.7 centimetres
The decimal represents millimetres (a tenth of a centimetre)
This should be the final product.
Now that you've observed me create an isosceles triangle, I have a question.
Question 1- What is an isosceles triangle?
Answer- A triangle with two equal sides.
