How to draw an exotic cartoon bird 🐦

Gather your supplies (i Didn't have the outlining pen when I took this pic)

Draw a circle lightly

Then draw a curve. This is part of the neck

Go around the outside of the circle and draw the other part of the neck

Draw a smaller circle for the head

And draw the face cross like this (so you get the position and angles right when putting in the features)

Draw ovals for the eyes

And two smaller ovals inside for the shines

Draw the beak

And head feathers, they can be like this....

Like this

Or anything you want, but I'm going to use this one

Add a fringe of you want

And big, strong legs

Draw large, clawed feet

And rail feathers

Draw a collar for decoration (optional, but improves the exotic look)

It should look like this so far

Outline on sharpie or an outlining pen

And erase all the pencil marks

Now, to add more details to the face

Colour the eyes

And draw nostrils on the beak

Draw a smile

Add detail in the hair if you like

Put detail in the collar

And draw little frills on the legs. Put detail in them too

Draw a frill around the top of its neck

And draw detail on the tail

In pencil, draw a large egg behind it

And 2 in front of it

Then outline and erase pencil

Draw whatever prints or detail you like on them

Draw the ground (it can't be floating) and draw tufts of grass

If you like you can draw palm fronds at the top of the page

Ta-Daa!!!
