Next, pick a mouth for your turtle. This style is more of a grimace.

Add some choppers. I curve my teeth lines a little to give them some dimension.

Next, add a bone shape to the top of the nose. This will be his bandana. Draw this lightly because you may have to adjust later.

Eyes are a bit trickier. The type of eye you pick depends on the mouth. This is a good example of the different types of mouths and eyes. Notice all the eyes come from the nose. No complete circles.

Add a number 3 shape to the right side of the bandana. This will be the knot.

And finish it off with two ends shaped like leaves or petals.

Add either blue, red, orange or purple to the bandana. I used a fine tip sharpie.

Light green colored pencil works well for a base shade for the "skin".
