How to draw a giraffe

This is the picture I will be using as my reference photo

Start by drawing the basic shapes of the giraffe

Now start drawing in the basic outline

Erase the unwanted lines

Now add the tail, the mane, and some detail in the face

Now start drawing the spots. Be aware of the sizes of the spots depending on where they are on the giraffe.

Keep filling in the spots. Try to make each spot unique!

This is the giraffe with all the spots drawn in.

Now start filling in the spots.

Now that the spots have been filled in, start drawing in the long grass.
