How to draw a face outline with strait hair

To make the outline I used my 4H pencil

The first thing i did was added a slightly curved line towards the top of my paper

I then added two lines in each side

I then added a curved line depending on how big the face depends how long you should make this. This line will act as the scalp.

I added the hair on each side don't go strait down because that will make like funny go up and then down. Also even though it's strait hair it won't be strait lines add some curves here and there.

Complete it on the bottom I kind of add a neck as a guide.

Now I take my HB pencil to do the hair

I change the face shape and give the hair a more natural look and sort of curve the edges to Mage the face look right

I start shading at the scalp don't go straight down go up or curve the hair so that it give the hair a realer look.

Add a circle very lightly where you want your highlight to be if you want in at all

Continue to shade around it

I took my 2H pencil and shaded in the circle.

I ended up shading them together with my finger to give it a more natural look

I then took my HB pencil

And finished shading the rest of the hair. This wasn't my best sketch though

Some tips are 1)you can shade this if you would like it just takes away the the look of strand of hair 2)you can add pastel over this
