How to draw a cat

This is my first guide, sorry if it's bad 😜

Gather your supplies. For my flat surface, I used a stool.

Draw a short line around the middle of the paper. Remember to draw very light, so you can erase any mistakes.

Draw 2 lines downwards from the last one. Stop once it's about an inch from the first one. They have to curve at the top. Then draw a short line at the bottom, connecting all four lines.

Draw a circle on top of the body. This will be the head.

Add ears, eyes, a nose, mouth, and whiskers. You can add more on later.

Draw a line starting at about halfway down the body. End at the bottom of the body.

Add two more lines, so the bottom half of the body is separated into 4 parts. DO NOT COMPLETE THESE LINES. Leave a tiny bit of space in between these lines and the bottom of the body.

Draw little semi-circles like so. These are the front paws.

Draw a half oval off of the side of the body. Again, don't complete it.

Draw a circle at the bottom, completing the leg. Repeat Step 10 and 11 on the other side.

Now all four legs + paws have been added.

Make a line going out from one side of the body. Make it a little jagged.

Add a curve to the top of the line and continue it until you reach the body. This is your tail.

Put on some accessories if you'd like. I added a tongue and collar to mine.

Finally, colour it if you'd like. I went for an Ancient Egyptian feel with the colours. Also, the whiskers got a little clumped, so it looks like a moustache.
