How to draw a cartoon girl head

Gather all of your supplies

Draw a circle

Draw a vertical line through the circle and draw a horizontal line where shown. You can use a ruler if you like

Shape the chin like this

Draw a horizontal line where shown

Erase the curved lines, as shown

Draw the base of the eyes like this...

Draw the top part of the eyes

Draw circles inside the eyes

Draw small curves inside the eyes. Like this...

Draw small, dark circles where shown

Shade the eyes. Lighter at the side where the small curves are.

Draw small V's like this

Draw in the nose and mouth like this

Use the V's as guidelines to draw the eyebrows

Erase all of the lines

Start drawing the hair as shown

Erase part of the sides of the head and, using long strokes, draw hair

Draw strokes of grey into the hair

Use a finger to smudge the pencil

Add colour to the hair if you like. Also, use a grey lead to hi-light the main parts of the head

Finished!
