How to draw a basic rose

1. Gather your supplies.

2. This may look strange but this is what you should start off drawing.

3. Continue adding on to that expanding the size of the pedals each time.

4. Add any details that you'd like to it. As you can see I have chosen the effect of shading.

5. Now it is time to draw the stem.

6. Add any details that you'd like to the stem.
