Materials: Black pen. Pencil. Eraser. Paper.
Draw a curvy Z on your page.
Draw the same (or thereabouts) Z underneath the first.
Join up the ends and the sides (as indicated by pencil)
Erase these two lines (where pencils are pointing)
Drawing in little squiggly lines at the top and bottom
Join up
Go over in black pen and shade background
