Determine your kicking foot
Place the ball slightly to the right or left of both your feet
Plant your non-kicking foot a few inches behind the ball facing toward your target
Focus on the spot on the ball where you would like to hit
Lean your body back with your arms stretched out
Swing your kicking foot around the back of your planted leg
Curl your foot to kick the ball with the top of your boot
Make contact with the bottom side ball of the ball
Turn your shoulders to face the target as you follow through
