How to do the butterfly strategy

First take two fractions and put them together

Next circle two numbers each from a different fraction

Then multiply them

Then write the answer on the bottom or top

Next take the other numbers and multiply them

Then put that answer on the other side

Then compare the two products . If there the same numbers then the fractions are equivalent.
