How to do long division.

This is the problem we will be using in our lesson.

Now you divide 7 into 9 to get 1. Don't forget to put it above the line over the nine.

Multiply 7 by 1 to get 7 put it under the 9.

Subtract 7 from 9 to get two, bring down the 1 so you have 21 below the 7.

Divide 21 into 7 to get 3 then you put the 3 up top next to the one.

Multiply the 3 by 7 to get 21, then put it under the previous 21

Then subtract 21 from 21 to get zero and your answer is at the top
