Take your pack of cards...
Begin to deal out 26 cards face up in front of the spectator...
Secretly memorise the 7th card (in this example it is the queen of hearts) and keep dealing until you've got 26 cards face up...
Now deal three cards face up in a line in front of your spectator...
No cards need to be added to the king because kings, queens, tens and jacks are all worth ten already.
Now ask your spectator to add up the three cards face up and tell you (remember court cards re worth ten) so in this example the sum would be 21
Now tell your spectator that you will guess the card that is answer to the sum in the remaining pile of cards. So in this example, we tell our spectator that we can guess the 21st card in the pile.
Your answer will be the card you secretly memorised earlier!
