How to do a scorpion

Scorpions are a basic move any flyer should know. I'm trying out for cheer soon and wanted to share this with any other girls out there who want to be a flyer!

Start by stretching! You should have a full split and a good backbend before you try a scorpion.

This is how to do the actual scorpion!

Of course, start standing!

Lift up your leg.

Lift up your leg.

If you have a left split, lift your right leg. If you have a right split, lift your left leg!

Lift up your leg a bit more. Now start swinging your arm over!

Lift up your leg a bit more. Now start swinging your arm over!

And grab onto your leg. Try to lift it up as much as possible!
