How to do a fish braid

Brush out hair with a large paddle brush Xx

Secure with a hair tie that matches the hair colour Xx

Split into two pieces Xx (equal)

Take a small strand from the left hand side

Clip out of the way Xx

Take a section from the edge of the right strand ad pass it to the left Xx

Take a section from the left and pass it to the right

Repeat steps six and seven until you reach the end Xx

Secure with a band

In the next step we will use the strand that we originally pinned out of the way before beginning the initial braidXx

Unpin the original strand

Wrap around the elastic and leave around 2" (inches) Xx

Take out a bobby pin it does not necessarily have to match the hair colour as it is going to be completely out of sight

Use it to pin behind the strand so it is secure (use two if you feel it is more secure) Xx

The final step is optional. You could leave your braid as it is Xx
