This is a lot more time consuming than I would have ever thought, if this is something you want to do, start with one pallet, not what I did, fill an entire trailer with them
Get your pallets home, be more selective as to which ones you take, not like what I did, now I'm stuck with a bunch of bad wood
I tried a few different ways, on the Internet I've seen people just pry them apart, which was way too hard, the other method was to use a reciprocating saw and cut the nails. That didn't work well
I ended up using a circular saw and cutting the ends of both sides off
It was easier to knock these pieces off once apart
This is what I'm left with
Mallet and a pry bar and they come out with the nails
Nails up on all the removed boards, then used a hammed to drive them backwards through
Then could pry them out easily
This is what I'm left with after about 5 pallets, took about 2 hours to get to this point, with all of the nails removed, now on to the projects

- Safety glasses
- Pallet
- Circular saw
- Prybar
