How to detangle messy hair

Start by wetting down your hair. Just so it's damp, not drenched!

Put a blob of the conditioner in your hand.

This is about the amount of conditioner that you should have. If you have thicker hair, use a bit more. If you have thinner hair use a bit less.

Apply to hair all around. Even the under-layers.

Let the conditioner sit in your hair for about 2 minutes.

Lightly pat dry your hair to get extra, unneeded water and conditioner out.

Next start to brush your hair. If you have a tender scalp, grab the strands of hair that you are brushing and hold them by the roots/or your scalp.
