Take a look at your Kitchen Sink. 👀
Take care of obvious. ... Yep the Dishes!
Wash and Dry those pans too!
Grab that cup on the counter. Now's the time to call out to family to bring any dirty dishes to ya. 😮
Load dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
To remind the Little People in my house, I put up a note that these are Dirty.
When the Little People bring dirty dishes, exchange them for their flashlight..Science Project...etc... to put up. 😮Call to Dear Hubby to come get his thingamajig. Clear the entire area.
Sprinkle Baking Soda all over the sink and countertop.
Just generic, plain and cheap baking soda.
Grab a toothbrush from your old toothbrush pile. (When we get ready to toss a toothbrush for a new one..we throw in here to use disposable brushes for cleaning.)
Turn water on a wee bit and wet the toothbrush.
When cleaning be sure to clean the cleanest areas to the dirtiest areas. Scrub clean any edges....
...rinse..
Scrub more edges....
..and these edges...
...don't forget these edges..
When all the edges are clean..Grab a scrubber sponge and get it wet.
Scrub the counter with scrubber sponge.
Leave the film the baking soda leaves till get all large areas done.
Clean the faucet first, then inside the sink, with the sides first..before cleaning the bottom of sink. Remember clean the cleanest to dirtiest.
All the way around.
Then the bottom.
And last the drain.
Now grab my Homemade All Purpose Cleaner. Mix up: 1 cup water, 1/4 cup vinegar, 2-3 drops Dawn dishwashing liquid. I like to add a drop of Blue food coloring. The blue coloring makes whites whiter.
Spray liberally on all areas where the Baking Soda film was left.
All areas.
Now let set. You will start to see the white foaming. The Baking Soda and Vinegar in the Homemade Cleaner react naturally creating a natural scrub!
See the foam?
Again..
Now scrub it.
Here..
..see how much dirt that comes off?
Amazing how much dirt this scrubs up.
When all has been scrubbed..wring out the sponge under water till water runs clear.
Like so.
Now put in your dishwasher. I used to put them in the laundry but any hair or lint collects on the scratcher part. The dishwasher does a much better job.
Place in utensil holder.
If the old toothbrush's bristles are still good...
Put it in the dishwasher too.
Time to Rinse..Grab a Dishcloth and get wet.
Keep the water running just a little to frequently rinse off dishcloth.
Wipe and wipe ...
..till appears all cleaned off.
Rinse till water is clear.
See how dirty the water wringed out is?
Keep rinsing..
...till water is clear.
When water is clear..go back to wiping..then rinse again...
Till it shines.✨
After counters are rinsed completely, go to faucet.
Rinse all of it.

All the way through
To the other side.
Looking better.
Now time for the sink.
Sides then bottom.
Check the shine so far.
Looking much better. All dirt is gone.
Next to Clean the Drain. Sprinkle the Baking Soda over drain.
Grab the Vinegar.
After at least 5 minutes, run a minute of hot water to clear the drain of any gunk the foam scrubbed off.
Sink is smelling better now.
Time to dry. ..yep..Dry.. Trust me on this. We are Deep Cleaning, Remember?
Get to Drying.
All of counter.
Pretty dry.
Dry the faucet.
All of it.
Already shinier.
Don't forget the sides.
Now the sink..sides then bottom.
Nicer huh?
Check that shine!✨
It's clean but it's dull. Let's fix that.
Now let's really shine. Grab the Baby Oil.
Grab a dry dish towel to apply Baby Oil and Buff it.
Apply small amount.
Much better.
Now flip the towel and Buff it. To Buff it, you are just wiping off the excess so you can't feel the oil.
Now Super Shine the sink and Buff it.
Again, start with the faucet area.
🌟Bam!🌟
Like a mirror!
Then to the sink. The oil shines and protects.
See the difference?
I did half. See?
All clean and sparkling! Now for the Makeover!
My paper towel holder is grimy. :(
For that grime on Stainless Steel..grab Rubbing Alcohol.
Pour onto paper towel.
Add clean Paper Towel Holder in corner with Decorative Food. Simple but Nice.
I love a scented candle on the sink burning while I work. But the wax buildup is messy looking.
All clean!
Light it up 🔥
Now everyone needs dish soap on the sink.. Right?
💥Wow💥 These pumps come in so many colors and styles. You just must pick one up to hold your dish soap.
Open a clean scrubber sponge. My fave!
Looks okay..
..how about this?...
..or this?...
..this one is cute...
Have you seen these? They're supposed to hold your bar soap in the shower.
Yeah! I like this look.
Place drain stopper.
Looking better but needs something....
Sweet! I can do some real work here.
Before and After! Deep Clean your sink and Makeover and Enjoy!
