How to decoupage tv trays

Gather your supplies. I used the Decoupage glue to glue down the cards, and the Hard Coat Mod Podge for the top coats. (The matte mod podge is just another example of what can be used)

Clean your trays thoroughly, and let dry. (I am working on three TV trays, so you will see photos from each of the trays.)

Before you put any glue down, lay out the cards/paper you will be gluing down, so you get an idea how it will all fit. Brush light layer of glue across top of tray. Start lining up your cards/paper.

Lay down a large piece of wax paper, and use a rolling pin to roll back and forth over the cards/paper you have glued down. You want to have a tight seal, and no air bubbles.

After the pictures are glued down, you will use the Hard Coat, to brush on five coats. Wait 20 mins between coats.

After the final coat, wait 24 hours before use.
