How to decorate skewers for food presentation

Gather supplies (I did not have the glue in this picture)

Punch out desired shapes. Two pieces per shape.

Put a line of glue down the middle backside of each punched piece. (I like to work on waxed paper to keep my tablecloth clean)

Glue punched pieces onto skewers.

Using heavy books, carefully set on top of just glued skewers. Let set for 10 minutes or so.

Dried, now time to put other side of heart on.

Repeat previous steps, then line up punched piece with shape that is already glued down.

Let dry.

Ready to skewer some food.

Food out, ready to skewer.
