How to decorate paper lanterns

I started out with these cylindrical lanterns I found on sale, but its the same process for regular paper lanterns

I got a few sets of fake flowers from the dollar store and separated out the petals

I attached the petals with a glue gun, starting out by making a ring around the center...

then the ends of the petals using as little glue as possible while still making them flat

I started with the largest petals, then the smaller ones to cover the lanterns completely

The final step is to add the sequins

Glue sequins on the centers of the petals that are visible to hide them and to add color
