How to decorate cute chocolate egg cupcakes

Step 1. Place half of the Betty Crocker icing in a bowel.

Step 2. Add food colouring, in this case we are making purple icing, mix blue and red icing to make the purple you want.

Step 3. Once you are happy with the colour spoon icing into a piping bag. You can use a zip lock back and cut the tip off. It doesn't matter if you don't have a nozzles or not

Step 4. Starting from the outside pipe your way around the already prepared cupcake. As you make your way to the middle make sure you overlap the icing making it thicker towards the middle.

Step 5. Ice all your cup cakes

Step 6. Depending on the time you make these. Use kinder surprise eggs. Or if you can find your normal chocolate Easter eggs.

Step 7. With a metal skewers remove the top of the egg, making sure they don't break. Leave the surprise or toy in the middle it is a lot easier to work around.

Step 8. Make the whole as big as your little fluffy chicken. If the whole is not big enough you can always take away some more to make it fit

Step 9. Once finish place in a tray so they don't break as you do the others.

Step 10. Please the chocolate egg on top of the cupcake making sure it is straight and can sit by itself. You may need to keep moving it around in the icing until it Will stand on it's own.

Step 11. Take a packet of edible flowers.

Step 12. And place around the cupcake making sure there is an even amount on the cupcake in this case two white and two pink.

Place on plate and serve.
