STEPS
TOOLS
You'll need a tray and a whole bunch of wine corks
Cut the corks in halfs, using a sharp knife.
Hold the cork tight, so it doesn't slip and you cut your finger of.. or something
There. Two halfs. Make sure that pretty pictures or text is facing up, it's more decorative
See? Trees, castles and grapevines
That was one...
Almost there...
All of them done!
Now, like a puzzle, make the bits fit in the bottom of your tray
This took a while, but those corks are not very even...
A row might not get covered all the way, so fit the gaps with half a cork
When you are done placing all the pieces, it's time to glue them
I pushed the rows a bit and did one row at a time
4 rows
10 rows!
There. A decorative tray for almost anything. Note: My tray was quite good looking to begin with. If yours isn't, a coat of paint can make wonders 😉
