Spray your hair with hair protectant (this prevents hair from split ends). This step could also be optional

Turn your Wand to the temperature you want it at. Wait for the bars at the bottom to stop moving and stay a constant blue. Also, lock the wand by pressing the "-" button for a few seconds

Wrap your hair around the wand FLAT!! Do not twist it AT ALL or else the curls won't come out right! DON'T FORGET YOUR GLOVE IT COMES WITH!

Then release the hair, and cup it in your hand before fully letting go. This helps to preserve the curl better.
