crocheting is an awesome hobby... i show you how to master the basics :)

STEPS
TOOLS
i'll show you how to start out your first crochet project... this is part1: the slip knot or the begining of you foundation chain
i suggest you use a 5 mm hook and some worsted weight yarn... that should be easy for a beginner because the hook is big enough for the yarn and your chain won't get to thight :)
worsted weight yarn
H/8-5,00 mm hook
wrap the yarn around your middle and index finger. hold thight with your thumb
insert the hook under both loops
grap the second (inner) loop and pull trough the first (outer) loop
now grap the other loop (former outer loop)...
pull throuh the outer loop, slip of your fingers and pull thight... you should have a nice knot in your yarn with a loop on top
now pull the short end of the yarn till the knot sits close to you hook... don't pull like a crazy bat or you won't be able pull your hook through to make a chain :)
so, now you made your first slip knot... practice till you can do it with your eyes closed... stay tuned for part 2: foundation chain kisses&hugs
leave me a comment how you liked it :)
