Now do 4 half double crochet in next 4 stitches

Round 2- chain 1, do 2 single crochet into next stitch , 5 single crochet into next 5 stitches

These are your 5 single crochet

Now do 5 half double crochet into next 5 stitches and this is what it looks like.

Now do 2 half double crochet in next stitch and do this for 4 stitches. Then do 5 half double crochet. And this is what it looks like

Do 5 single crochet and then 2 single crochet in last stitch. Then a slip stitch to first stitch ( the chain at start of this round)

Round 3- chain 1, single crochet in same stitch as chain.

Now do 12 single crochet

Now do 2 single crochet in next stitch , 3 single crochet in next stitch which should be the middle. Sometimes I must mis calculate stitches and end up only doing 1in one stitch and two in the next

Do 2 single crochet in next stitch ( after your 3 singles) then do 12 single crochet, then 2 single crochet and a single in next stitch and a slip stitch to the chain at start of this round to join.

Round 4- chain 1

Do 10 single crochet all the way up in each stitch. Then do 5 half double crochet in next 5. Now do 2 half double in next stitch and then repeat or next stitch. Then do 3 half double crochet in next 3

Then do 2 half double crochet in next stitch and do the same in next stitch. Then do 5 half double crochet in next stitches

Do 11 single crochet and then a slip stitch on the first chai of round to join. Pull tight. cut about 15 cm yarn. Enough to be able to see in tail on wrong side of sole to secure your work

ROUND 3- ch1, sc in same st as ch, 2sc in next st, 12 sc, 2sc in next st, 3sc in next st ( it don't line up sometimes so i do a single in one stitch then 2sc in next), 2sc in next st, continued --->

12 sc , 2sc in next st, sc and sl st to chain at start to close

ROUND 4- ch1, 10 sc, 5hdc, [2hdc in next st]x2, 3 hdc in next 3,[ 2hdc in next st]x2, 5 hdc,11sc and sl at to chain at start of round. Cut tail to be long enough to sew in to wrong side of sole.

A total of 4 must be made to create the soles of each flip flop.
