I use a cotton yarn for these hearts to make it sturdier, but you can use any kind of yarn depending on what you'd like to use the hearts for...use crochet hook size accordingly.
Make a magic ring. If you've never made one before, just search it on snap guide. I saw plenty of them already posted!
Chain 4
Working towards the inside of the ring, make 2 triple crochet stitches. Again, check out others who made a post for making a triple crochet stitch.

My favorite step of all!! Pull the small magic ring string and watch your creation become a heart!! ❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️kinda see it now?!? ❤️❤️❤️
A heart! Pull string tight to get the right shape.
Insert hook into center of heart and make a slip knot to finish up the heart.
Cut the yarn and tie the back with a simple knot!
And your done!! A small little crocheted heart! You can use them in all kinds of projects.
I've used them as present toppers, and dangled them on present bags. I've added them to tie a card together and I plan on incorporating them somehow into my wedding. Many ideas from one little heart!
Instead of cutting the string, you can knot and continue a new one and chain the hearts together to make a heart garland!
