How to create your own custom tribal dr.martens shoes!

Have your pair of canvas shoes ready on a flat surface

Choose the colors you want to use. Tribal patterns are often very vibrant and colorful. I used stained by sharpie fabric markers.

Choose a reference photo from the Internet if you aren't familiar with tribal patterns!

Make thin, but dark patterns on your canvas shoe, starting from the front of the shoe. I did some designs from the top of my head. Make sure you color in all patterns fully!

Make sure you use the lighter color first when doing a pattern then the darker one last.! (I.e) when using yellow and black use the yellow first then fill in outline of pattern with black.

This is how the front of mine came out :) if you want to wash them, use COLD water and set aside somewhere to dry! Don't stick them in a dryer. You don't want baby tribal shoes now do you?
