Step 1: You have you 2 products to make a 12% protein feed. - Cross subtract the supplements by the protein percentage. - Then add the two answers you get from the subtraction.

Step 2: You then divide the number you got from the subtraction, from the answer from the addition then multiply by 100. Ex: 24 / 28 X 100=

Step 3: Multiply the answer you got from step 2, then multiply that by the amount of feed wanted to feed out. Then you get the amount of the two supplements to be fed out. Ex: 14.3 X 2000= 286lbs

Step 4: Add the two amounts of the supplements together to make sure it equals the amount wanted to feed.
