Create Valentine's Day Shaker Card
15
STEPS
TOOLS
Use white cardstock of 4.5" x 5.5". Using the MFT die to cut a hole where u want the shaker to be.
You get an inner square measuring 3" x 3"
Use a regular square die that is slightly smaller at 2.5" to cut the border
This is what you get.
Cut another white cardstock measuring 3" x 3" to stamp the image
Cut an acetate measuring 3" x 3"
Finish colouring the stamped image. I used glossy accent on the heart to give it a shine!
Cut a foam sheet measuring 4.75" x 5.75" and cut another square measuring 3" x 3". Make sure it aligns with the 1st square on the white card
Add double sided adhesive to back of white card and adhere to foam sheet
Adhere
Cut another white cardstock measuring 9.5"(folded in half) x 5.75". This is your card base. Cut the 3" x 3" square again. Align with previous squares cut
So you have the white card adhered to foam sheet that is adhered to white card base. Stamp caption.
Use double sided tape behind foam sheet
Add your "shakees" for your shaker card
Close the card and align the shaker card to the inside of the card base and adhere
Here's the card when opened. Tip: stamp your caption, in this case, You're My Type, on top of the image rather than below so that the shakees doesn't cover the words
And here's the finished card! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
