Remove skin--as my daughter calls it! This can be done by hand peeling, using a knife & cutting the paper off, or by placing crayons in a glass bowl & pouring hot water on them. HOT not BOILING!

Break crayons in small pieces. We used some larger crayons and they took longer to melt.

Preheat oven 250 degrees.

Place 15 to 20 minutes on the timer. This will depend on how big the crayons are and the size of the pieces.

Place your broken pieces into your silicone mold.  We used gingerbread men. Go ahead be creative with your molds and colors!

Place your silicone mold on a cookie sheet and then slide into the oven and start the timer.

After 15 or 20 minutes take cookie sheet out of oven and let cool for five minutes or more . The silicone molds could also be placed in the refrigerator to speed up cooling time.
