STEPS
TOOLS
It's easy to create seasonal napkin rings with just a few paper crafting supplies.
First, decide on your napkins. I got these pretty ones at Target.
Cut strips of paper 1 1/4" x 7". Mix and match patterns if you like.
Cut card stock strips 2" x 7" then use your favorite border punch along one long edge.
Sand distress the edges for a shabby look.
Before you adhere these together, give the papers a curving. This makes the rolling much easier.
Using glue stick, adhere the papers together then roll so that the ends overlap about an inch. Use Scor-Tape to secure.
Do as many as you like.
Tie a pretty ribbon around and knot firmly. Trim ends.
Punch a leaf shape from darker green card stock, curve a bit, then adhere just below knot.
Slide the wire stem of a craft flower under the knot. Use hot glue to secure flower to ring, then curl the wire stem. I used a quilling tool.
So simple!
Try different trim and flower combinations.
Package them in a pretty box with a set of napkins for a thoughtful hostess gift.
Or, like me, use them on your table for a festive Easter brunch.
