How to create simple pl cards with shimmerz inklingz

Hi there. Today I am going to do a quick share of some Calligraphy cards using Shimmerz Inklingz.

Inklingz are solid water colors made by Shimmerz Paints with gorgeous iridescent shine, in many different colors!

To begin with you will need to activate the watercolors. Just spray a good amount of water in what ever colors you plan to use.

Leave it for a minute or two and then scrub with a brush to make the water you sprayed in there really well pigmented as is disks into the pans. You want the consistency of creamy milk.

Now the trick to being able to write with this liquid is to load your brush with prepared water colour and swipe it on the underside of your nib to load it with colour, ready for writing!

Now practice on scrap paper, to get the 'feel' for your tools and mediums.

Start writing out text, sayings and words that will suit a range of themes in your Project Life Albums!

Keep writing.....Add a flourish here and there! (This sample is 'Spotlight White')

Investigate different colors....the gold collections are gorgeous on the black!!! ('Miner Miner' pictured here)

Once they dry, round the corners with a corner rounder....

I also tried some Coloringz poured into an aqua brush.... A more muted effect....still super pretty!
