Chose a color that will match an accessory that you have on so your nails will compliment that accessory. I chose blue for an example.

With a black nail polish start from the middle of the nail and creat a dipped curve going to the corner of the opposite side.

Fill in the nail with the black polish. This black tip will compliment your black dress.
