To keep the silhouette protected from the crayons you'll need to cover 2 flashcards in cling wrap and tape them to the canvas in the shape of the umbrella.

Next, choose the order and color for your crayons. Green, blue, and purple work best for the rain effect. You're going to glue them across the top of the canvas with the glue gun.

The longer you melt them, the more there will be across the canvas. If its taped it down right, the crayon should go around or sit on top of the flashcard. Don't worry, this is the effect you want.
