How to create melted crayon art

Start by sorting the Crayons by color. You won't use every single color, but sort the ones you like the most. Remember: ROY G BIV! (Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, indigo)

Place the Crayons on the canvas. You may need to add or subtract Crayons from the previous step to make them all fit. NOTE: This step is to get the correct amount of Crayons you will need for gluing.

Now hot glue the Crayons to the canvas. Apply the hot glue to the middle of the Crayons, making sure not to get the ends or the tips as they will melt.

Place either cardboard or fabric against a wall and floor near an outlet for the hair dryer. This will prevent the Crayons from splattering everywhere.

Turn the hair dryer on and aim it towards the middle of the crayons. Continue to move the hair dyer from one end of the canvas to the other. Eventually, the Crayons will begin to melt.

TIP: If you are not happy with how far down the Crayons melted, go back over the specific area until you get the desired effect.
