How to create labeled terracotta pots
A cute way to display and label planted herbs by simply "spicing up" your everyday Terracotta pot!

I wanted to add a little more detail to my Terracotta pots, so I drew a simple vine design using Elmer's Painters Pens. This isn't a necessary step but I thought it added a little something! :)
Paint the body of the pot with your chalkboard or matte black paint for a solid background color. I covered the entire section, but you could paint a band around it if you don't want as much paint!
Once they have dried completely, they are ready to write on!
I used a white Elmer's Painters Pen to write the name of the herb on the outside of the pot. (You may need to go over it a couple times to make sure it's a solid white line)
Just for an added cuteness, I tied a bow using Raffia Ribbon around the top and put a small dot of Elmer's Glue on the back and side to make sure it stayed in place.
Since my mom loves gardening, I had her plant the pre-grown herbs she wanted in the pots! (Planting seeds will work, too!)
