STEPS
TOOLS
This is how my inspiration started with 3 different substrates perfectly sized for ATC's
Apply modeling paste over your stencil, I'm using the brand new clear one by TCW. The first substrate is chipboard
Apply same modeling paste over stencil, this time the substrate is wood
Remove one side of the protective film
Use gel medium over stencil to continue the clear theme
Add a coat of white gesso over the first two substrates
Cover with various distress oxide inks. I'm using broken china, peeled paint and vintage photo
Lightly spray with water and see it oxidize right before your eyes!
I used my fingers to run over the vintage photo over the wing relief work, very lightly
Stamping words with the oxide is so cool. Make sure you Heat dry before lightly misting it with water, Otherwise it may run and you may loose what you stamped
See the detail of the distress ink on the top part, so cool, lightly misted with water!
See how the water droplets distress the brave word?
I tucked my wording on the opposite sides of the wing and included the stamped heart
