How to create christmas sprays using old christmas trees
When we moved a few years ago, I somehow lost the trunk to my 7 foot artificial tree. I was about to throw out the branches but started experimenting with making sprays out of them. Turned out great!

TOOLS
End result if one of my sprays. I use a lot of different candles and such to accent
Start by laying a larger Christmas branch down and spread the branches out flat. You can use whatever size will fit the space.
Add another beside it, overlapping it. My metal ended (where the base fit into the tree trunk) are facing each other on the middle
Now add a smaller branch on top of the two bottom branches
Add another (so you now have four total). For the top two branches, fluff the branches upward to make it full.. You can add additional smaller branches as needed (for larger sprays)
Add your lights. I use strings of 100 since many will he hidden by your decorations. Don't worry about the wires, you will hide them with decorations, but push them into the spray as much as possible
Add your decorations. I use large pine ones I found in the woods and sprayed them silver for this particular spray
I bought several berry branches and such at hobby lobby to help full in
Add a few Christmas balls if you choose and you are done!!
