STEPS
TOOLS
You will need clean dry or damp hair when you start. It's best to do this right before bed.

Begin by sectioning the hair into two sections. Top & Bottom.

Take one to two inch sections of hair at a time.

Spritz each section lightly with your leave in conditioner.

Grab an assortment of curling rods. I like to use different sizes. I feel it makes the finished look more natural.

Begin wrapping your section around the rod, twisting up towards the scalp.

Bend the ends of the rod to secure.

I used about 10 rods.
Sleep on it!

Begin removing each rod one at a time starting with the bottom sections.

You will get a nice "Shirley Temple" like curls.

Gently run you fingers through your hair to desperate the curls. For more tamed, relax curls, use a flat paddle brush and continuously brush until the curls are the way you like them.

I prefer a more natural looking curl so I have stopped here. If you continue brushing (ALOT OF BRUSHING), you will be able to create vintage old Hollywood curls and waves.

Hope you like the look :). Like me on Facebook.com/TheMessyVanity for beauty tips, how to's and words of inspiration.
