This tutorial is great if your a person like me who likes their sleep but still wants their hair looking great the next day. You can fall asleep take your hair out the next day and be ready to go(:
Supplies I use
As soon as you get out of the shower whip your hair up into a high bun and let it stay there till it dries a little. (Doing homework, eating, watch a tv show, or any thing else will help take up time)
Taking 1 small drop run the fructis sleek & shine through your hair. This product helps with tangles brushing your hair out as well as frizz control. (Bonus: it smells amazing!)
Next grab your brush and brush it out as straight as you can. (It will help when braiding)
Take a pea sized amount of your curling gel and rub it through out your hair. (This is what creates the beachy wave look to hold in place) (The Pantene one is not sticky or crusty. Best one I've seen)
The next step is braiding. I personally like the traditional 3 strand braid but if you would like to french or reverse french braid your hair feel free too. The regular braid to me takes less time
With your damn hair braid it to the very end then tie it with your rubber elastic band or hair tie.
Ahh yay sleep time! Zzzzzzzz. Fall asleep with your braided hair and you will see the beautiful results in the morning!
Ah morning time take your hair out of your braid (:
Next I flip my head over and shake it around to so the hair strands can separate
Tada!! Your finished(: I hope you enjoy this hairstyle as much as I do!
- Wet hair straight from after taking a shower
- Hair band (elastic works best)
- Curly hair gel (Pantene works great)
- Hair brush
- (Optional) : garnier fructis sleek & shine
- Knowing how to braid
