Place the redstone lamps as part of the roof. Connect the lamps with redstone and have some branching off like I do.

Light the lamps using a redstone torch. The torch should be on a block diagonal from the redstone that is branching off like I do.

Place the daylight sensor and redstone like I have in the picture. The redstone torch should turn off because this is a NOT gate. This method is the most simple and does not waste materials.
