STEPS
TOOLS

Choose your colours - I've gone with bright watercolour crayons and acrylic paint

Taking book pages, tear and add to your page. Draw over with the water colour crayons then taking a paintbrush dip in water and go over the crayon to give water colour effect

Once dry, pick out inks (I used Tim Holtz distress inks) and go over the paper highlighting areas until happy

Taking your masks (I've used flowery swirls), dab your chosen acrylic paints through using a baby wipe

Once again when dry, take your sequin waste and dab further acrylic paint using a baby wipe or rub the sequin waste to take of some of the colour underneath for a reversed effect

Take the first set of your digital images, colour then place on your page. Once your happy with the placement glue down. I've coloured in the I ages with promarkers, distress inks and glimmer mists

Taking your next set of images, colour again, place and then when happy glue down

Take your final digital images, colour and stick down. Added stems using acrylic paint

Choosing a fun character (this dormouse from the Octopoda factory), I chose to colour him in greys to make him stand out from the bright background

Finally, add a quote from the book to fit your chosen character, matched the quote by colouring the background in greys.

Spritz with some more glimmer mist and your done!
