Start by drilling a small hole in the lid of your wood box.

Cover with a coat of Art Anthology Mud.

With the Art Anthology Bubbles stencil randomly put down some opaque modeling paste on the lid and the box.

Dry completely.  If you use a heat gun be careful or the paste will bubble.

Select a couple of Art Anthology Sorbets. I picked Red Velvet, Sunshine and Coral.  Put a bit of each on you craft mat and mix in some water.  Paint the lid, let the colors mix and blend.

When that is dry use the Art Anthology Velvet Tuxedo and a flat tool of some sort to create lines and then pull or 'smear' them up ovder the stencil texture.
