How to create a zentangle atc

First, decide what type and style of tree you want to draw. Consider a pine tree, palm tree or even a cactus. Draw a large tree in the foreground.

Add the horizon line and details to the middle ground and background. What time of day is it? Consider adding a moon or sun and clouds.

Create a silhouette by coloring your large tree and the land it sits on with black sharpie marker. Outline the rest with black sharpie.

Add a variety of patterns to your land and water. Don't add pattern to the sky!

Color it with markers and gel pens. Each pattern should have two or more colors. Don't forget to color the sky!
