Set up your bathroom. The shower works best if it is placed in a corner and if has a layout somewhat like this one.

This is an aerial view of where the sticky piston will be placed. Place it on the same level of how high you want the ceiling to be. Ideally, have the piston on the 4th block from the bottom.

This is how I placed the sticky piston the way it was. Make sure you stand in the shower to have the piston face the inside.

Place the redstone dust like so. If your lever is not in the exact place as mine, you may need to adjust so that the dust starts on the block directly behind the lever.

Place 2 blocks like this. Make sure there is no block in the corner. That is where you will be placing the water. Then extend the piston by pulling the lever.

Place water in the basin that is formed. Build up the walls as needed.

Decorate your bathroom as necessary. What I did was build a ceiling so that none of the top could be seen. It may look a bit large, so feel free to experiment!
