How to create a window frame wreath

Remove glass and backing from picture frame. Cut 2 strips of cardboard or wood to fit inside frame from the back.

Hot glue or staple strips to frame.

Now your picture frame has "panes" like a window frame.

Using easy peasy Dixie Belle paints, paint frame and strips. (You can paint the strips before or after attaching them to your frame).

When paint is dry, sand lightly to get a nice distressed look.

Once your window is distressed to your liking, place frame face down and arrange cedar clippings in the top right corner. Using hot glue, adhere to the backside of window.

Add two or three layers of clippings.

Flip window over, add a sprig or two more of the cedar clippings then embellish as desired. Use decorative picks, monograms, pine cones, holly, bows, etc.

Hang your creation on the front door or use to enhance your holiday decor inside.
