Remove glass and backing from picture frame. Cut 2 strips of cardboard or wood to fit inside frame from the back.

Using easy peasy Dixie Belle paints, paint frame and strips. (You can paint the strips before or after attaching them to your frame).

When paint is dry, sand lightly to get a nice distressed look.

Once your window is distressed to your liking, place frame face down and arrange cedar clippings in the top right corner. Using hot glue, adhere to the backside of window.
