STEPS
TOOLS

Find all the papers you can cut up to layer in your album, tags and die cuts especially!

Keep your cut off strips with a strip of pattern on it, these make good flags and accent strips!
Cut your cover pieces and then your inner pages from cardstock. (Inner pages just a little smaller than covers)

Select the papers you want to work with! I chose the cream colored ones. I cut them in half so I had left overs for other projects!

Here's the tags! Cut these out too. I punched holes in the fake holes and tied string and ribbons through to make them real.

All cut out. Ink each one ready to use.

I gathered all my kit so I had everything at arms reach.

Cut the covers just a little larger than the pages

Trim up your covers (cut to the same size as your cardboard pieces) I chose one patterned paper for the outer pages one for the inner covers.

I started layering the elements for the cover. Doily, large star punch and a flower! Glue the ribbon across the front leave a little slack around the spine (for expansion) and glue on the back.

I added cardboard to the back of a diecut sticker to add dimension to the title.

A brad to the centre...

Next I started arranging the elements for each page. Adding a tag or two... Some ribbon, staples, string, flowers.....

I added a page or two of acetate packaging as well, just for interest. Just make sure what you adhere to the opposite side goes over the same space so you can hide the adhesive.

I cut a flower in half and glued half to the front and half to the back on top of each other.

A doily and badge and a flower with a die cut. Just super simple and ready for the photos and some journaling when the time comes!

Super simple embellishing I can add to later, or just print my photos larger so they take up more room.

More simple decorating

Cutting flowers in half makes them go further and it looks really cute!

Pages 10 and 11 (sorry for the orientation, it needs to be this way so you can see both pages :-/)

12 and 13

14 and 15

Simple, simple stuff. Your photos can be the focus, add journaling and any extra embellishments when you finish the pages.

More acetate....

A pretty mix of fabric flowers and die cut flowers, add a brad or two....

Wrap some string....

Page 23....almost there!

24 and 25!
