How to create a season's greetings mantle card

Start by cutting two pieces of black cardstock that measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4" on both pieces of cardstock.

Adhere one of the 4 1/4" cardstock panels to the other 4 1/4" cardstock panel from the second piece of cardstock. This will create a 5 1/2" x 12 3/4" card base when opened completely.

From the red animal paper, cut the following pieces: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", 3 3/4" x 5" & 3 5/8" x 4 7/8". Ink edges of all papers using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

From the Patterns & Solids, cut the following pieces from the green paper: 4" x 5 1/4", 4" x 5 1/4", 4" x 5 1/4" & 1" x 5 1/2". Ink edges of papers using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

From the Patterns & Solids pad, cut the following pieces from brown paper: 3 3/8" x 4 3/4" & 3 3/8" 4 5/8". Ink the edges of the papers using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

From the flower paper, cut the following pieces: 3 - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" & 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". Ink edges of papers using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

From the red diamond paper, cut the following pieces: 2 - 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", 3/4" x 5 1/4". Ink edges of papers using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

From the Ephemera Cards, pick 4-3"x4" cards. Trim cards to 2 7/8"x3 7/8". Pick 2 - 4"x6" cards. Cut 1 card to 3 1/4"x4 1/2" & 2nd card to 3 1/4"x4 5/8". Ink edges using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

From borders paper, cut out holly borders, Winter Wonderland Border, 5 stamps, bird ticket & Season's Greetings word. Cut borders to 4 1/4". Ink edges of all pieces with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

Adhere the 4 1/4" animal paper to the inside middle panel. Adhere the green 4" paper to the animal paper.

Adhere red holly border 1/4" from bottom of green paper. Adhere Winter Wonderland border slightly underneath holly border. Use foam squares to adhere the 2 stamps. Roll one corner down on each stamp.

Adhere 4 1/4" flower paper to inside left panel. Adhere red diamond paper to flower paper.

Adhere green holly border on 3 sides to the bottom of the papers. Slide 2 cards in the holly border pocket.

Fold the right panel in. Flip the card base over. Adhere the gold ribbon to the middle of the card base. Leave the tails of the ribbon as long as you'd like for creating a bow.

With the right panel still folded in, adhere the 4 1/4" flower paper to the black cardstock. Adhere the 4" green paper to the flower paper. Adhere the 3 3/4" red border paper to the green paper.

Adhere 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" image to 3 3/8" x 4 3/4" piece of brown paper. Create photo corner from brown paper. Adhere in top left corner of brown paper. Foam square brown paper to red border paper.

Cut brown winter border to 4" & season's greetings border to 4 1/4". Adhere Winter border 3/8" from bottom of image. Adhere season's greetings border slightly underneath other border.

On the front left cardbase panel, adhere red diamond paper to cardbase. Adhere red paper to flower paper. Adhere flower paper to green paper. Adhere green paper to diamond paper.

Adhere 3/4" red diamond paper to the 1" green paper. Adhere 1" green paper 3/8" from left of diamond paper. Adhere image to brown paper. Foam square brown paper to middle of red border paper.

Adhere a fussy cut poinsettia in bottom right corner of image. Adhere bird ticket to left of poinsettia, sitting slightly underneath it. Adhere a stamp underneath & to the left of the poinsettia.

Adhere the Season's Greetings sentiment to the bird ticket. Adhere 2 other stamps to the top right side of the poinsettia. Roll one corner down on each stamp.

To finish your Season's Greetings mantle card, tie a bow on the right hand side of your card. Your Season's Greeting Card is now complete!
